Mlue Player is developed and maintained by the Mlue Developer Team. We built this application with a transparent, local-first, and privacy-respecting foundation:
This Privacy Policy explains how Mlue Player collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our mobile application available on the Google Play Store.
By installing or using Mlue Player, you consent to the information practices described in this policy.

Mlue Player requests permission to access audio and media files stored on your device. This access is required strictly to scan, organize, index, and play your local music library.
Local Playback Commitment: Mlue Player does not upload, transmit, or stream your local audio recordings or music files to our servers for the purpose of providing offline playback. All media indexing and playback processing happen locally on your device.
To deliver a complete music player experience, the application requests the following system permissions:
Required to discover, read metadata, and play audio files stored on your device storage and SD card. Audio files are never transferred off your device.
Required to display playback controls (Play, Pause, Skip, Track Title, and Album Art) in your notification shade and lock screen while audio is playing.
Allows continuous, uninterrupted background music playback when the screen is turned off or while switching between other apps.
Used exclusively for online features: fetching synchronized lyrics (.lrc) via the public LRCLIB service, user account authentication via Firebase, and displaying ads via Google AdMob.
Used to smoothly adjust audio output volume and manage audio focus when phone calls or notifications occur.
Enables the optional Pro upgrade to remove advertisements, securely processed by Google Play.
You can use Mlue Player entirely offline without creating an account. If you choose to sign in (via Email or Google Sign-In), we process:
This information is used strictly to identify your account, protect your profile, verify your email against spam, and synchronize your custom playlists across devices.
Track titles, artist names, album titles, durations, and embedded cover art are read directly by Android MediaStore on your device. This metadata stays on your phone and is not stored on or sent to our servers.
Mlue Player includes a client-side feature that lets you create 9:16 Story Cards or copy lyric excerpts to share with friends on messaging and social platforms (such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, etc.).
If you submit a bug report or feedback through the in-app Help & Feedback screen, we collect the description you provide, your contact email, general device diagnostics (Android OS version, device model), and any optional screenshots you attach. This information is used solely to investigate and resolve issues.
Mlue Player integrates with select third-party services to deliver key features. Here is an overview of what each service does and what data may be processed:
Used to authenticate users and maintain their account. Depending on your chosen authentication method, this may process your email address, display name, and internal authentication identifiers.
Used to display advertisements in the free tier of the application. AdMob may process advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID), general device information, approximate location, and app usage data in accordance with Google's Advertising Policies. You can manage or opt out of personalized ads at any time via Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
Used to process optional Pro purchases to remove ads. All financial transactions are handled directly by Google Play. Mlue Player does not directly receive, process, or store your complete payment card or banking details.
Used to retrieve synchronized lyrics (.lrc). Non-personal song metadata, such as track title and artist name, is sent to the public LRCLIB API to find matching lyrics. No user identity or device identifier is sent to LRCLIB.
We retain account and cloud-synced data only for as long as necessary to provide the application's services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
When an account deletion request is completed, associated user profile data and cloud-stored playlists will be permanently deleted or anonymized where applicable, subject to any legally required retention obligations.
You have complete control over your account and personal data:
In-App 1-Tap Permanent Deletion:
Open Mlue Player > Settings > Account Card > Tap "Delete Account". Your Firebase authentication credentials, account profile, and cloud-synced playlists will be permanently deleted from our servers immediately.
Email Request: You may also email us directly at mluedeveloper@gmail.com with the subject "Delete My Account" from your registered email address, and we will delete your records within 7 business days.
Mlue Player uses HTTPS/TLS encryption for communications with supported external services to help protect data while it is transmitted.
Your local data is protected by the Android operating system's built-in application sandbox, ensuring other applications cannot access your app settings or local cache without authorization.
Mlue Player is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or the applicable minimum legal age required in your country or jurisdiction, such as 16 in certain European territories).
We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from children under these age thresholds. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information without required consent, please contact us at mluedeveloper@gmail.com, and we will promptly remove such information from our records.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Application, our services, or applicable legal requirements. Any updated version will be made available within the Application or through the relevant application listing, with the revised Effective Date indicated at the top of the policy.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about our privacy practices.
